In 1946, Lamar and Libby Ware founded Ware Jewelers in downtown Auburn. They brought their own strong values and principles to their store, determined to become Auburn’s premier jewelry store. The Auburn business boomed, and praise for Ware Jewelers began to spread throughout Alabama. A decision was made to expand the business, and Ware has since opened locations in Montgomery, Opelika, and Spanish Fort.
